Social Justice Ministry
The Social Justice Ministry helps parishioners live out the Gospel call to love our neighbors, serve those in need, and work for the common good. Grounded in Catholic Social Teaching, this ministry seeks to promote the dignity of every human person and respond with compassion to the challenges facing our community and world.
Together, members explore how faith calls us to action through prayer, education, advocacy, and service. Whether supporting those who are poor and vulnerable, promoting peace and justice, or responding to local needs, the ministry encourages meaningful actions that can make a lasting difference.
The group studies the principles of Catholic Social Teaching as presented by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops and works to apply these teachings in everyday life. The ministry also supports the work of Society of St. Vincent de Paul and other outreach efforts that serve those in need.
