Lectors
The Lector Ministry offers parishioners the opportunity to proclaim the Word of God during Mass. Through prayerful preparation and reverent reading, lectors help bring Sacred Scripture to life and play an important role in the Church's liturgical worship.
Lectors are responsible for proclaiming the First or Second Reading during the Liturgy of the Word, allowing the congregation to hear and reflect upon God's message. This ministry is both a privilege and a meaningful act of service to the parish community.
Volunteer Responsibilities
Time Commitment
Lectors typically serve once or twice each month, depending on the number of volunteers and scheduling needs.

- Prepare and practice the reading before your scheduled Mass
- Arrive early to review any announcements or special instructions
- Serve with reverence, confidence, and clarity
