Gift Bearers
The Gift Bearers Ministry provides individuals and families with a meaningful opportunity to participate in the celebration of the Mass by bringing forward the bread and wine that will become the Body and Blood of Christ during the Liturgy of the Eucharist.
This ministry is a wonderful way to involve parish families in the liturgy, welcome new parishioners, and encourage children and youth to take an active role in the life of the Church. Families with children preparing for First Holy Communion or Confirmation are especially encouraged to participate.
Ministry Leadership
The ministry coordinator organizes and schedules gift bearers for each Mass, often utilizing tools such as SignUpGenius. The coordinator works with parish and school families, sacramental preparation groups, and new parishioners to ensure broad participation throughout the year.
Volunteer Commitment
This ministry is a perfect family service opportunity and a beautiful way to participate more fully in the liturgy.
