Baptism
We are honored to welcome you and your family as you prepare to celebrate the Sacrament of Baptism at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Baptism is the beginning of a lifelong journey of faith and a beautiful moment in the life of both the child and the Church.

Preparing for Baptism
Parents seeking Baptism for their child should be registered and active members of Blessed Sacrament Parish for at least three months before beginning the Baptismal preparation process. All parents are required to attend a Baptismal Preparation Class, which is typically held on a scheduled Sunday at 11:30 AM in the Parish Conference Room. Upcoming class dates are published in the parish bulletin.

Baptism Celebrations
Baptisms are generally celebrated following the Saturday 5:30 PM Vigil Mass or the Sunday 10:30 AM Mass. Other arrangements may be made for pastoral reasons. Please note that Baptisms are not ordinarily celebrated during the season of Lent.

Adults Interested in Baptism
If you are an adult who has never been baptized, or if you were baptized in another Christian tradition and are interested in becoming Catholic, we invite you to learn more through our OCIA (Order of Christian Initiation of Adults) program.
