For
nearly seventy years , Blessed Sacrament School has contributed
significantly to the spiritual and academic growth of the city of
Savannah. It has grown from a faculty of three Sisters of Mercy,
housed in three small classrooms in 1939, to a faculty and staff of
40, some who are now in the present modern facility. Alumni of
Blessed Sacrament have taken prominent positions in the Church and
in the wider community, and have remained loyal supporters of their
first Alma Mater.
Blessed
Sacrament School is accredited by the Southern Association of
Schools and Colleges (SACS), and the Florida Catholic Conference.
The school provides an excellent education in a supportive
environment that involves parents, teachers, and priests. The school’s
emphasis on smaller class size, coupled with our strong academic and
religious programs represent a drive for quality and excellence in
elementary education.
