Logo of Society in the US St. Vincent De Paul Society - The Society of St. Vincent De Paul is an international Catholic organization of lay persons, who seek to help those who are suffering through a person-to-person contact. The society has two aims: "To do a great deal of spiritual and temporal good to a few poor families in the name of Jesus Christ." (Manual, St. Vincent dePaul Society) Members strive to achieve the Society's aims by visiting, in pairs, the needy within the parish area and providing such aid as food, shelter, financial assistance with utility bills or other needs often neglected by other organizations. Services are rendered regardless of creed, opinion, color, origin or caste. The parish offers assistance to the needy through donations from parishioners. Monetary donations can be placed in the collection baskets the first weekend of each month. Meetings are held  once a month - and are publicized in the parish bulletin.

Respect Life Committee - Members provide information to parishioners concerning the Church's position on abortion and euthanasia in order to foster a respect for all human lives from conception to natural death. Activities include offering Respect Life prayers and materials on Respect Life Sunday, assisting Birthright and Nazareth Home.
