Lectors
The Liturgy of the Word is not simply a reading, but an event, one that brings before the assembly the Word that God wants made known to us at that very moment. The ministry of a lector is to proclaim the Word of God with reverence so that the faithful may develop a love for the Sacred Scriptures. This ministry is open to all members of the parish who are available to attend training sessions and are available on a regular basis for one of the weekend masses.
